James Meagher of Knight Frank is handling the sale of a residential site in Fosterstown, beside Airside in Words on behalf of Simon Davidson of HWBC Allsop who was appointed receiver by Ulster Bank. The site is on the market for over €4 million having been originally brought to the market for €12-€14 million before the property crash.
The site measured 10.8 acres is zoned for residential use in the Fingal County Development Plan 2011-2017 and is likely to accommodate between 100 and 150 houses. This will be its most likely use, although it could also be used for retail or education purposes.
The development is expected to be a more traditional medium density development, as opposed to a more high density development seen in some developments over recent years, James Meagher commented that this is due to the abandoning of the planned Metro North stop at Fosterstown.
